Among the list is Cebu-born Monique Lhuillier, who has solidified her status as a staple for Korea’s biggest names. After the likes of Park Shin Hye, Park Eun Bin, and Bae Suzy, another Hallyu icon has been added to her esteemed clientele—Girls’ Generation’s YoonA, who recently attended the 77th Cannes Film Festival in the designer’s creation.

On May 19, the King the Land lead actress walked the famous carpeted stairs of the Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of Horizon: An American Saga. YoonA, alongside EXO’s Lay Zhang, fronted the Kering-owned Chinese fine jewelry brand Qeelin as its global ambassador in selected pieces, adorning her form as glimmering accessories.
Offering her take on movie-star glamor with a youthful spin, the K-drama actress donned a full-length pink-hued piece from Monique Lhuillier’s Spring 2023 ready-to-wear collection. With its upper half featuring a pleated and cinched bodice, the pastel gown falls into a train of silken material, peeking at a subtle slit.

The gown’s tulip petal-esque neckline perfectly complements YoonA’s choice of Qeelin’s high jewelry, a delicate set with interlocking strands, tied together by a similarly shaped clasp. Meanwhile, the actress kept the floral motif in earrings intertwined with diamond flowers, highlighted even further with a slicked-back high bun.
To end things with a punch, YoonA slipped on heels courtesy of Roger Vivier. The Spring/Summer 2024 sandals, rendered in black satin and silk blend, are a certified eye-catcher with rhinestones that adorn its platform and ankle buckle.
