The annual Venice Film Festival is upon us once again. From August 28 to September 7, the biggest names in cinema convened in the City of Water for a celebration of film, fashion, and glamor. Icons like Angelina Jolie, Cate Blanchett, and Nicole Kidman, as well as emerging talents such as Taylor Russell and Hoyeon Jung are all in town to grace the highly anticipated event.
Now in its 81st year, this year's Venice International Film Festival lineup is premiering entries from all over the world. This year, 18 feature films were officially selected for the prestigious Venezia 81 competition, with each one in contention to bring home the coveted Golden Lion prize, the highest prize at the event.
