Every star has their own unique shine, but in the case of TWICE’s Sana, shimmer takes a literal meaning. At a recent event for the luxury jeweler Graff, the K-pop idol was a glittering sight among a crowd, accessorized in jewels that included a jaw-dropping 205-carat necklace.

The TWICE member was in attendance for the third anniversary of the British jeweler’s boutique in Ginza, located in Tokyo, Japan. Sana, who represents Graff as its brand ambassador, appeared in front of photographers in a custom black off-shouldered piece by Korean designer Seo Seung Yeon, detailed with a voluminous skirt with layers of contrasting white fabric underneath.
The dark number, which she also paired with Jimmy Choo’s black Gian platform pumps, was given a large dose of shine courtesy of the Graff jewelry that adorned her form. The matching set of Sana’s Graff earrings, necklace, and ring are crafted with pear-shaped cut diamonds of varying carats, but the star of the show can be spotted resting on her neck: a white diamond necklace with 205 carats, which is reported to cost a record-breaking $45 million–that’s approximately P2.6 billion!
According to Channel News Asia, the necklace features a center diamond that was cut and polished from the Meya Prosperity rough diamond, which is said to be the 29th largest diamond to be discovered during its acquisition in 2017. The necklace was officially unveiled during the Tokyo event, where Sana totaled a whopping 252 carats worth of diamonds on her person.
“Upon the completion of this high jewelry masterpiece, I knew immediately that it should be worn by Sana to coincide with this very special anniversary celebration,” said Graff CEO Francois Graff in a statement. “It is our way of expressing our gratitude to our clients across the region for their commitment, loyalty, and unrelenting appreciation for the beauty and rarity of our diamonds and gemstones.”
