Yesterday, Marian Rivera was introduced as the Center for Advanced Dentistry's newest ambassador. Clad in a fuchsia silk halter dress, the actress was the picture perfect example of sleek sophistication. But what really caught our eye was the aluminum minaudière she paired with her look.

LOOK: Marian Rivera's Grace Ling "Butt Bag"
Carrying a "Butt Bag", Marian's cheeky accessory is a product of Singapore-born, NYC-based designer Grace Ling. Known for dressing Hollywood veterans like Jennifer Lopez and Anya Taylor-Joy, Grace Ling created the Butt Bag as a conversation piece. "The butt bag is an encapsulation of both humor and sophistication," the designer said in an interview with Dazed. "In the beginning when I first designed the butt bag, I was thinking about how I had been creating quite conservative clothing–those power dressing suits that cover up the body, and then the butt bag, sitting on the hip, the outside, subverts the voyeurism. The gaze is directed at the purse, instead of the person."

The process of creating the piece was an interesting way to merge sustainability and fashion. Grace revealed she used 3D printing to draw up a blueprint for this piece, printing prototypes made of biodegradable corn-based plastic before molding the final piece with aero aluminum, an infinitely recyclable type of metal.
The Butt Bag also comes in two iterations: the Butt Bag and a smaller Petite Butt Bag. According to her Instagram post, the Petite Butt Bag can accommodate AirPods, keys, and a lipstick while the bigger version can fit in a few cards and a wallet.
