Despite being in the show biz industry for more than a decade now, Alexa Ilacad isn't the type to splurge on luxury items impulsively. A self-confessed "kuripot" girl, she would much rather save up for high-quality pieces that are guaranteed to stand the test of time and trends.
In the same vein, Alexa loves budget-friendly finds as well! Most recently, she found an affordable alternative to a Bottega Veneta arm candy and raved about her latest purchase on Instagram.

"Because hot girls don't gatekeep. My favorite buy this year—the VIRAL bottega dupe from @anthropologie, sourced by my favorite usa shopper, @shops.nycph," she wrote online. "So so so beautiful & exactly like the famous bottega jodie but only for a small fraction of the price."
The caption was accompanied by photos of Alexa's black outfit that day, a casual ensemble that consisted of a zip-up crop top, Dickies 874 Work Pants, and matching black shoes. She accessorized the OOTD with a chunky red necklace and a silver bracelet, capping it off with her new Brigitte Large Satchel from Melie Bianco.
As Alexa points out, the Melie Bianco bag features a weaved material and a knotted handle that closely resemble Bottega Veneta's cult-fave Jodie design. Its spacious body and slouchy silhouette, however, are also similar to the fashion house's Hop bag.
While Bottega Veneta bags are typically braided by hand with lambskin and calfskin leather, the dupe by Melie Bianco is only crafted with faux leather and lined with polyester. That's why it only costs around P7,000, a very small fraction of Bottega Veneta's six-digit price tags.
