Having been in the local entertainment industry for over two decades now, Shaina Magdayao is starting to make waves in the international scene as well. The 33-year-old actress flew to South Korea to attend the 28th Busan International Film Fest on October 5, 2023.
Since her film Essential Truths of the Lake screening under the event’s Icons section, Shaina was also invited to walk the red carpet alongside producer Bianca Balbuena. Unsurprisingly, Shaina dressed to kill for the career milestone and stole the spotlight abroad!

Styled by Adrianne Conception, Shaina was garbed in a custom fiery ensemble by Ehrran Montoya. Designed with a figure-hugging serpentine silhouette and a sultry thigh-high slit, the bold red number came fully encrusted with texturized crystals and dangling beads.
Ehrran shared more photos of the dazzling frock on his Instagram feed, revealing that it was inspired by Shaina’s bold personality. He wrote, “The fully beaded ensemble, featuring a unique deep neckline and captivating texturized crystals, highlights her beauty with elegance and sophistication, embellished with dangling beads adding a touch of allure, perfectly complementing her character.”
Adding even more sparkle to the long-sleeved dress were diamond earrings by JMA Jewelry, as well as a matching gleaming clutch by Bling & Co. So glamorous!
To match her shimmering ruby-colored ensemble, Shaira wore a matte red lipstick and glitter eyeshadow for her makeup look. She also pulled back her hair into a sleek low ponytail to let her beautiful gown take center stage.
With her marsala dress and flawless beauty look, Shaina was a dazzling vision in red as she graced the event. She was even welcomed by Parasite star Song Kang Ho at the opening ceremony!
