A Brief History of Roger Vivier
After designing shoes for Christian Dior for a decade, Roger Vivier founded his eponymous brand in 1937. He would then go on to be credited with the invention of the stiletto around the late 1940s to early 1950s and the unique comma-shaped virgule heel in 1963.
