Ternos seem to be going through a resurgence in today's local sartorial scene, and we're certainly all for it. The latest A-lister to have donned the heritage-inspired outfit was Ria Atayde, who accompanied her brother, Arjo Atayde, to the Cannes, France for the premiere of Cattleya Killer, his newest TV series.
LOOK: Ria Atayde's Sequined Terno Gown at Cannes, France
Dressed by Cath Sobrevega in Isle, the stylist's very own brand of bridal wear, the 30-year-old was a vision of elegance in a white Filipiniana dress peppered with transparent sequins. But what truly made her long terno gown different was its sultry corset bodice and sweetheart neckline that accentuated the actress' decolletage. It was an alluring and modern twist to the classic terno! Paired with the frock were drop pearl earrings, a dainty handbag, and PVC heels.
Her glam team made sure that she looked just as elegant in the beauty department. Antonio Papa styled her brown locks in slight waves, and Denise Ochoa brushed on a neutral day-time glow. Gorgeous!
You both looked great, Ria and Arjo!
