The Bulwagang Rodriguez at the Manila City Hall was once again set ablaze with this year's Rampa Manila showcase. Now in its second year, the event takes on the theme "Textile, Texture, Technique," a celebration of the capital city's bustling hubs for fabric sourcing throughout the years. Through their capsule collections, both young and veteran designers paid homage to Manila and Divisoria's enduring influence on the Philippine fashion industry.

3. Dhenyze Guevara
Dhenyze Guevara reimagined traditional Filipino attire with a maximalist flair. Her collection was a symphony of bold designs, including a gold corseted barong, a supersized Filipiniana dress, and a barong with faux mink trimmings.

4. Val Taguba
The main lineup began with Dubai-trained couturier Val Taguba, whose collection of mermaid-inspired, crystal-embellished gowns shimmered under the lights. Bathed in cool-toned pastel hues, each gown, all evocative of opulence and glamour, showcased Val’s skill in intricate detailing and luxurious design.

5. Jhobes Estrella
Jhobes Estrella honored the nation’s capital with a series of meticulously crafted Filipinianas and Barong Tagalogs. Through floral appliques and elegant draping, he breathed new life into traditional attire, creating pieces that were both timeless and contemporary.

7. Marc Rancy
Marc Rancy gives his own spin on balletcore, featuring tailored, fringed blazers and bubble-hemmed skirts. His collection, aptly named “An Ode to Ballet,” was a harmonious blend of nude pinks and whites, brought to life with billowing silhouettes and a delicate, feminine energy.

8. Anthony Ramirez
Anthony Ramirez gives the inabel its much-needed spotlight with his capsule collection. A weaving tradition born from Northern Ilocos, Anthony breathes a contemporary spirit into heritage textile through chic power suits, and asymmetrical dresses, all adorned with intricate, monochromatic floral appliques.
