PUMA Speedcat Gets a Fresh Makeover With The New Speedcat Ballet
The PUMA OG Speedcat, which is inspired by race shoes, boasts a classic and versatile low-profile silhouette that hugs the foot (which makes it closer to the silhouette of a ballet flat). The OG pairs have laces and a full leather upper like regular sneakers, but the Speedcat Ballet has a wider opening and simple elastic bands to secure your feet as you go out and about.
The Speedcat Ballet has the race track detailing on the side but with a small window. It boasts a leather upper, too, with textile OrthoLite sock liner, while the rubber outsole extends and wraps around the heel. It's a classic and versatile pair to wear with anything-like your denim pants or cute skirts. Imagine the lace socks you'll be able to showcase with these cute pairs.
It's available in black and white and black and pink color combos. The black and pink ones, to be more specific, are our fave-the two-tone elastic bands, pink race track detail, and PUMA logo on the upper is the combo of our dreams. But another colorway that's sure to turn heads is the metallic and white combo, which is what we spotted on their U.S. website. The silver sheen dominates the whole upper, making it a standout piece.

The Speedcat Ballet, while not yet available on the PUMA Philippines website, is available at the Philippine Sneaker Exchange ranging from P9,000 to P10,000. Sizes 5 to 9 for Women are available, and it has an ETA for one to two weeks. They have both on-hand and pre-order pairs, depending on which one you're after.
