ICYMI, Preview wrapped up Pride Month with the Preview Pride Soiree on June 29, and it was definitely a night to remember. This glamorous event served as a tribute to this year's June cover, honoring Pride, queer excellence, and the vibrant LGBTQIA+ community. And with fashion being at the heart of Preview's DNA, the soirée wouldn't be complete without a captivating fashion show.
The runway showcased a stunning collection of modern Filipiniana garments, skillfully crafted by six talented queer Pinoy designers. Thirteen out of the 19 incredible Pride cover girls sashayed through the catwalk, exuding confidence and celebrating individuality. Each model showcased a unique ensemble, symbolizing the beauty of diversity and the power of self-expression.

Dinnes Obusan
Deo Cabrera, Justine Llarena, and Barbie Q commanded attention as they walked down the runway in Dinnes Obusan's designs.
Deo rocked a youthful twist on the traditional terno, combining a cropped butterfly-sleeved top with a vibrant green balloon skirt adorned with a traditional Filipino weave design. For her accessory, she donned a gorgeous piece from Mjorian.
Justine radiated sweet dalagang Filipina vibes in a classic Filipiniana dress and a V-necklace from Alchemista, while Barbie Q embraced the playful spirit of 1960s mod fashion with a multi-colored popsicle dress, along with earrings from Farah Abu.
Jan Garcia
Jan Garcia, known for his thematic designs, enchanted the audience with his celestial-inspired collection worn by Jade So, EJ Nacion, and Sassa Gurl. Swarovski crystals adorned Jan's terno creations, transforming them into sparkling works of art.
Jade shimmered in a gold Swarovski dress with a pañuelo and a striking side cut-out, while also donning earrings from Farah Abu. Meanwhile, EJ made a bold statement in an oversized terno emblazoned with black Swarovski crystals and a vibrant multi-colored patchwork skirt.
Sassa Gurl embraced the spotlight in a mermaid-esque ensemble, embellished with eggshell blue Swarovski crystals and a darker hued Chalcedony Jade double strand necklace from Alchemista.
Manny Halasan
Pao Mendoza and Janlee Dungca showcased the artistry of Manny Halasan, renowned for his intricate headdresses and stunning Filipiniana gowns.
Pao stunned in a fiery red Filipiniana gown, exuding confidence and grace, while Janlee showcased elegance in a regal magenta ensemble.
Marlon Tuazon
Director Rod Singh brought the house down in Marlon Tuazon's breathtaking fully sequined and beaded fringe outfit. With dangling Farah Abu earrings to match, she captivated the crowd with every shimmer and sway.
Ryan Uson
Iyah Mina turned heads in vibrant pink suit coordinates by Ryan A. Uson from RAU Atelier. The ensemble featured traditional butterfly sleeves, a deep V lapel adorned with rainbow-colored beads tied up into a beautiful bow. She finished it off with stylish boot-cut pants, making a bold and fashionable statement.
Santi Obcena
EJ Jallorina, Pipay, and Mav Bernardo showcased Santi Obcena's exceptional designs and accessorized with bespoke Farah Abu earrings and cuffs.
EJ wowed in a floral embroidered corseted top paired with a gorgeously draped high-slit skirt, radiating elegance.
Pipay turned heads in a Filipiniana version of the little black dress embellished with sequins and chains, while Mav impressed in a mesmerizing minokawa-inspired dress, paying homage to the mythical giant dragon-like bird from Philippine folklore.
Of course, no look is complete without the perfect pair of shoes to match. To complete all 13 of their looks, the dolls wore heels by renowned shoe designer Jojo Bragais.
The fashion show at the Preview Pride Soiree was a true celebration of diversity, individuality, and the rich tapestry of Filipino culture. It brought together fashion, culture, and fun in one unforgettable evening.
