From 1983 to 2018, Saudi Arabia had a ban on cinema due to conservative social norms and religious activism. Fast forward six years, and the country’s burgeoning film industry is now celebrated on the global stage with the fourth edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF) in Jeddah. The event has become a glamorous convergence of beloved and emerging actors, filmmakers, and creatives from around the world.
This year’s red carpet welcomed Hollywood icons like Andrew Garfield, George Clooney, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Priyanka Chopra, alongside many other industry luminaries. But what truly captured Filipino pride was the presence of Pia Wurtzbach, who once again represented the Philippines with elegance and style, gracing the festival in not one, but two stunning outfits by Filipino designer Mark Bumgarner.

For the Women in Cinema event, Pia stepped out in a timeless white draped off-shoulder gown. The gown’s soft, structured folds perfectly complemented Pia’s statuesque figure. With its clean lines and effortless sophistication, the look required minimal accessories—she opted for a simple pair of diamond earrings to let the dress speak for itself.

Pia turned heads yet again during the screening of The Inevitable Journey to Find a Wedding Dress. This time, she donned another Mark Bumgarner creation—this time a radiant yellow strapless evening gown—featuring the designer’s signature draping.

Always gorgeous, Pia!
