Netizens speculated whether or not Pia Wurtzbach really attended the Carolina Herrera show during New York Fashion Week after she posted a video on her Instagram account featuring footage from Style Not Com.

In the initial post captioned, "Color play at the @carolinaherrera runway," netizens accused Pia of "faking" her attendance at the fashion show. Her reel included runway footage of the final walk at the Carolina Herrera fashion show, but netizens were quick to point out that the original footage was lifted from a reel posted to Style Not Com.


Pia's post has since been edited to credit Style Not Com for the video footage, but that didn't stop commenters from questioning whether or not Pia actually attended the show.

Days later, Pia posted a carousel of photos of her time in New York alongside a caption that explained her absence at the Carolina Herrera show. "The city’s bustling energy and vibrant atmosphere were just as thrilling as ever, even if the traffic did make me late for a few shows," she wrote. "Felt so bad to have missed the Carolina Herrera show by a few minutes. Decided to shoot the looks they sent and repost the curtain call to make it up to them. Expect more CH content coming through!"

True to her word, the Miss Universe 2015 winner delivered on the Carolina Herrera content and posted an OOTD featuring a rose-printed frock from the brand.
