Pauline Amelinckx just set the Miss Supranational stage on fire as she embodied a fierce Filipina queen for the national costume round. Designed by Ehrran Montoya, her modern terno dress was a tribute to the country she calls home and the rich history it's been through.

Pauline's frock was a classic Filipiniana rendered in a shade of red so bright, it was impossible not to take notice of. In his Instagram post, Ehrran expresses that the garment aims to represent the "pride, strength, and the willingness of a Filipina to fight for her own freedom and rights."
The piece featured traditional draping on its bodice, a voluminous train adorned with glistening beads, and, of course, twin butterfly sleeves. Pauline sauntered on stage holding an umbrella decorated with the "okir" motif, which can be found in the culture of Moro and Lumad people.
Stylist Mikee Andrei completed the show-stopping ensemble with earrings and a headpiece by Farah Abu, as well as towering heels by Jojo Bragais. Making sure the beauty queen looked regal makeup-wise was Lei Ponce, who brushed on smokey eyeshadow and swiped on a matte mauve lip. To seal in the dalagang Pilipina vibes, hairstylist Florenz Torrontegui pulled back her tresses in a tight black bun.
Absolutely gorgeous, Pauline!
