The Strong Girl universe is back in our K-drama screens! Six years since Strong Girl Bong-soon first premiered, the world of ultra-brawny women returns in 2023’s Strong Girl Nam-soon. And like most sequels and spinoffs, the show also comes with its memorable cameos–including the main girl herself!

On episode three of Strong Girl Nam-soon, viewers are treated to an appearance of Bong-soon played by Park Bo Young, the titular character of the original drama. Now older–and maybe a tad bit wiser–Bong-soon is now happily wedded to Ahn Min Hyuk (Park Hyung Sik), who also appears in the spinoff.
During the moment in the show’s third episode, Bong-soon finds herself inside a precinct, as she’s questioned by the police for beating up two men for stealing and abusing a couple of innocent dogs. In a grand entrance befitting of him, her husband Min Hyuk enters the scene, where they meet Gil Joong-gan (Kim Hae Sook), Bong-soon’s relative and grandmother to protagonist Nam-soon.

Bong-soon may be placed under questioning at a police station, but that doesn’t mean she won’t look put-together in the process! The episode’s special moment features the character donning a navy cropped jacket from Ivana Helsinki, which is topped off by a dainty touch of a detachable cream ribbon.
Designed by the Finnish fashion brand, the dark blue outerwear named the Marianne originally comes with a complementary skirt, but Bong-soon opted to pair it with no-nonsense jeans. Perfect for a bout of crime-fighting, we dare say!
