We couldn’t stop listening to Olivia Rodrigo’s debut album Sour when she first released it back in May 2021. Her nostalgic songs wrapped in teenage angst made even the oldest millennial harken back to the days of their youth.
Anyone who’s a fan of Olivia knows that the Gen-Z star is known for her unique looks in awards shows. Her taste in music definitely influences her fashion choices as the teen loves to serve youthful pop punk looks.
So it's no surprise that for her very first Grammy Awards, Olivia owned the Y2K aesthetic. She wore a modern punk glam meets prom night vibe in a sultry, fitted custom black gown by Vivienne Westwood. It featured an off shoulder neckline and embellished with pink crystals across the front and back, which Olivia paired with matching pink chokers and long black opera gloves. She was certainly a vision in black and pink as she walked down the red carpet!
The 19-year-old was nominated for a whopping seven categories and bagged three of them namely Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, and the coveted Best New Artist that was, in Olivia’s words in her acceptance speech, “the biggest dream come true.”
Congratulations and much deserved wins, Olivia! We’re looking forward to more fashion and music moments from you!
