Contract marriages are a tried-and-tested K-drama trope for a reason. Characters are paired together for the not-so blissful wedded life, which ultimately prompts them to actually fall in love. But in the case of My Demon, things take a turn when the spouse in question is an actual, well, demon!
Just like the marriage contract K-dramas that came before it, one pivotal moment of the Netflix-streaming drama is the much-awaited wedding scene. And while the exchange of vows may just be for show (at least, for now!), the glamorous bridal look was still a bonafide stunner.
LOOK: Kim Yoo Jung’s Bridal Outfit in the “My Demon” Wedding Scene
In episode six, adopted chaebol princess Do Do-hee (played by Kim Yoo Jung) finally weds Jeong Gu-won (Song Kang), who, unbeknown to most, is a powerful demon in disguise. In his 200 years of existence in the corporeal world, Gu-won possesses a mean streak of making deals with human beings in exchange for their souls. Do-hee seems to be another notch on his belt, when Gu-won urges her to strike a contract with him during a life-or-death situation.
However, a catch comes around. When Gu-won loses his supernatural abilities around Do-hee, he’s prompted to enter a contract marriage with her to safeguard his existence. Cue: the wedding scene!
My Demon’s sixth episode sees the nuptials between the unlikely pair. Apropos of her status as a wealthy successor, Do-hee was still dressed to the nines on the big day. The character donned a silken cream gown as she walked down the aisle, detailed by pleats that adorn its strapless neckline.
In actuality, Do-hee’s bridal dress was a custom number from the Australian couture designer Leah Da Gloria, and sourced exclusively by the Korean luxury boutique Frida Bridal.
As for her accessories, Do-hee kept her dazzling nature on center stage courtesy of jewelry from Swarovski. Complementing the gown’s neckline, the drama’s bride wore the luxury brand’s Mesmera necklace, crafted with a string of Swarovski Zirconia on a rhodium plating setting. For a touch of sophisticated spontaneity, the necklace’s Zirconia comes with a medley of cuts and sizes.

Meanwhile, Do-hee opted for another Mesmera piece for her earrings of the day, choosing one of the collection’s drop earrings to adorn her. The bride’s finishing touch was the rhodium-plated string of mixed stone cuts, with the Zirconia in all its shining glory.

With a union between a chaebol and a powerful spirit, this glamorous look definitely fits the bill!
