While many of us know Mona Alawi as Ivana Alawi’s adorable younger sibling, Mona actually entered the local entertainment industry long before her sister did. Mona was first introduced to the showbiz world in 2011 as Jennifer Montereal in GMA Network’s hit family drama series Munting Heredera. Then referred to as Mona Louise May, Mona was widely regarded to be one of the most promising child actresses in the Philippines at only seven years old. She went on to appear in Luna Blanca, Aso ni San Roque, Magpakailanman, and other local television favorites before ultimately deciding to take a break from the spotlight in 2018.
Mona has been lying low and primarily connecting with fans via social media since then. 1. Embracing Parisian street style, Mona visited the Eiffel Tower in a black and white ensemble that made everyone’s jaws drop. She elevated a crisp white button-down with a long black leather coat and matching platform boots that stopped just below her knees. Her outfit wasn’t complete without a classic designer bag—and from Chanel, no less!
2. Mona donned another cult-fave arm candy in her next Europe OOTD. She styled the Dior staple with a black satin blouse, a khaki mini skirt, a beige trench coat, and her go-to leather boots. There’s no denying that she looks like a million dollars in this fit!
3. To make the most out of her travel wardrobe, Mona reused the same top, skirt, and shoes from the previous outfit while checking out the Louvre. She swapped out the trench coat for a cream blazer and the Lady Dior bag for her Chanel Classic Handbag.
