Another edition of Miss Universe-Philippines is upon us! This year sees a good mix of comeback queens and first-time candidates vying for the crown. As with every pageant, the preliminaries kicked off with the swimsuit competition, where the delegates rang in the summer season with their choice of sizzling swimwear.

3. Christi Lynn McGarry, Taguig
Given her reputation as a two-time Miss Intercontinental finalist, it comes as no surprise that Christi McGarry knows how to rock a swimmie. For this round, she looked as babe-tastic as ever in a nude-toned maillot that had openings on her chest and tummy.
4. Rethiana Rosy, Camiguin
Attesting to the power of a neutral-toned suit, Rethiana Rosy slipped into a backless brown one-piece.
5. Stacey Gabriel, Cainta
Is one cut-out enough? For Binibining Pilipinas alumna Stacey Gabriel, having a couple on your swimsuit definitely doesn't hurt. She was a total bombshell in this gray number clasped together with metal ringlets.
6. Juvel Mangubat Ducay, Bantayan Island
Juvel Mangubat Ducay went for a pop of color with her ensemble, slipping into a cerulean blue one-piece that had a deep-V neckline.
7. Anita Rose Gomez, Zambales
Anita Rose Gomez certainly stood out with her bright orange look. The one-piece had a flattering high-waisted cut, a peek-a-boo by her chest, and a criss-cross neckline.
8. Ahtisa Manalo, Quezon Province
Diving into the competition again after a five-year hiatus, Ahtisa Manalo surely didn't disappoint with her figure-hugging crimson suit. That smize is the best accessory!
9. Kris Tiffany Janson, Cebu
Also painting the town red was Kris Tiffany Janson. Miss Cebu went for a singular shoulder swimmie that had an eyelet detail by her chest.
