It typically takes years of hard work and experience to get into one of the biggest fashion houses today. As it turns out, however, it's not completely impossible for younger individuals to work for these prestigious labels!

Case in point: A 13-year-old student based in France recently became an intern for Louis Vuitton. It all started when his mom Louis Odessa posted photos of his fashion sketches online in an attempt to get noticed by the fashion house.

"I absolutely have to find a 3rd year internship for my 13-year-old son Milan...and not just any House," she wrote in French. "Hello @LouisVuitton. My son is just a little bit, a lot, passionate about your brand and leather."

Requesting for a one-week observation course, she raved about her son's budding art skills and passion for fashion design. She penned, "He is also very good at Photoshop on a graphics tablet for his creations and plans to do a professional baccalaureate and BTS in fashion professions. I have never seen him as amazed as the day he introduced me to your exhibition in front of the Samaritaine, he knew a lot about the partnerships and the history of Louis Vuitton."

Some of Milan's sketches included designs for high heels, sneakers, and co-ords. After his drawings gained traction on social media, French news outlet BFM TV picked up the story, which eventually ended up reaching Louis Vuitton. Just a week after Milan celebrated his birthday in December, BFM TV confirmed that Milan did indeed become an intern for Louis Vuitton! Wow!
