Filipino pageant fans were looking forward to seeing Michael Cinco creations on Miss Canada Nova Stevens and Miss Romania Bianca Tirsin for the Miss Universe 2020.
However, only the Top 10 candidates were able to showcase their evening gowns during the pageant's grand coronation night. Good thing, the behind-the-scene photos released by the Miss Universe Organization included Nova and Bianca wearing their respective Michael Cinco gowns.

Nova glowed in her Swarovski crystal-embellished neon yellow mermaid gown.
In an interview, Michael said he really had Nova in mind when he was working on this masterpiece. The designer said, "[Nova] is such an inspiring woman, and her journey as a refugee from Sudan to winning the Miss Canada crown is nothing short of amazing. So I have created a dress to celebrate that. It’s our message of strength and hope.”

Likewise, Bianca dazzled in her sparkling blue form-fitting gown. In an Instagram post, the Romanian beauty queen shared a photo of her wearing Michael's creation.

Aside from Nova and Bianca, Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Tebow also donned a gown by the Filipino designer during the pageant's grand coronation night. She channeled the "30’s Hollywood glamour," she said. Demi-Leigh served as an expert analyst that evening.
On Sunday evening, May 16, 2021 (May 17 in the Philippines), Mexico's Andrea Meza was crowned Miss Universe 2020 during the pageant's grand coronation night held at Seminole Hard Rock & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Philippine bet Rabiya Mateo made it to Top 21.
