Things have simmered down for Maxene Magalona since rumors of her separation from Rob Mananquil circulated a few months back. On the evening of October 17, the actress put the final nail in the coffin as she formally announced her breakup with her estranged husband.
In an Instagram post prefaced as "7 ways to move on from a breakup," Maxene is seen donning the same Vera Wang dress she wore when she wed Rob.

Maxene first posed in the dress when she was fitting it back in January 2018. The white frock was the epitome of elegance with its simple off-shoulder, column silhouette. Four years later, it makes a second appearance on her IG feed, sans the veil and bouquet, as she declares her singlehood anew.
In the post, Maxene details her course of action now that she's concluded this phase in her life. "Grieving is an integral part of the process. You cannot move on without properly grieving a loss," she says. The 35-year-old has recently been on a "self-enlightenment" journey, attending yoga classes and taking time off from the city.
Maxene promises to herself and her followers that from this moment on, she'll be focusing on herself and the things that matter to her. "Let go and let God. Move forward with grace and lightness in your heart," she punctuates her post.
In a recent video that Maxene shot with Preview, the actress shares that she sees well-being "holistically from the physical body all the way through to the soul," and it's where her "glow" is coming from—because she's physically, mentally, and emotionally at peace. Watch the video below:
