'Tis the season for giving! A Louis Vuitton employee recently went viral after she shared online that she received a designer bag from the French luxury fashion house for Christmas.
Based in Singapore, Tanya Bedi posted a TikTok video of her unwrapping the gift before Christmas Day. "I love working here," she captioned the clip, which now has approximately 8.5M views on the social media platform. Tanya also revealed to netizens that her co-workers received the same gift as well.

A closer look at the video will tell you that Tanya received a Monogram Canvas Toiletry Pouch, an old design that was discontinued permanently two years ago. While the original product was valued at around $800 or P44,000, a similar pouch is being sold on Louis Vuitton's website for €850.

Louis Vuitton also currently offers a chained variant of the original pouch at a higher price.

Many netizens were impressed by the company's generosity and expressed how happy they were for Tanya and her colleagues.

On the flipside, some TikTok users were disappointed by the fact that the gift is one of the cheapest bags in Louis Vuitton's lineup. Still, Tanya remained grateful for the present regardless of its cost. "Tbh even if they gifted a card it would have been enough for me, it’s really the thought that counts," she replied to one comment.
