Wedding bells rang for Lovi Poe and longtime beau Monty Blencowe! The posh event was held on August 26 at Cliveden House, a historic estate at the English countryside of Berkshire. Attended by close family and friends, it was a joyous celebration of their love and life together.
For her big day, the 34-year-old actress tapped Filipino designer Patricia Santos, who is known for dressing many celebrity brides in the past. According to Lovi’s stylist, Adrianne Concepcion, Lovi specifically wanted a Filipino designer so she could wear a piece of her home country. She has also worked with Patricia several times in the past.
Patricia created four looks to complete Lovi’s bridal wardrobe, the star of the assemblage being her ceremony gown: a stunning lace frock made from the exact same lace used for Kate Middleton’s Alexander McQueen wedding dress.
Featuring leg-of-mutton sleeves, the Victorian-inspired dress was far from old-fashioned with a backless detail and sheer bodice that complemented the full skirt. Her updo hairstyle and clean makeup also added a contemporary touch. A lace-trimmed veil completed the romantic elegance of this masterful look.
Prior to the main event, the couple held an intimate gathering with their loved ones. She donned a one-sleeved midi dress with a bow detail that matched her dainty fascinator. A perfect midday look that’s both sophisticated and uncomplicated!
Lovi announced her engagement with Monty last August 8 via Instagram. They had been engaged since 2021 and kept it under wraps.
