Marina Summers is taking over the world—the universe, rather!
The Drag Race Philippines alumna was just announced as one of the 11 contestants to take part in RuPaul's Drag Race: UK VS. the World season 2. The intercontinental series invited delegates from different franchises of the reality show to partake, our very own "Filipina Diva" included. For her official promo look, Marina channeled one of our country's crown jewels, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.

Styled by Paul Sese, the drag superstar donned a blue mermaid-tail gown with dramatic sleeves, bedazzled sheer panels, and feathery trims. The dress was a proper homage to Pia, as it was crafted by Albert Andrada, the same designer she wore during her Miss Universe stint! It was a bespoke piece for Marina, made with the intent to give the iconic dress an updated spin.
Of course, the look wouldn't be complete without the beauty queen's signature low bun hairstyle. Marina donned her version of the 'do, wearing a custom wig by fellow drag artist Margaux Bertrand. Punctuating the look was a gorgeous silver crown with sapphire jewels, crafted by Bulacan-based jewelry designer Manny Halasan.
