K-dramas and chaebols are a match made in Hallyu heaven, and they’re best served with a generous helping of frivolous fashion. The styles of the fictional rich don’t stop with outside outfits either, as their indoor clothes are a luxury magnet, too–even their bathroom essentials.
Case in point? King the Land’s resident chaebol Gu-won (played by Lee Jun Ho), whose recent wardrobe included a luxurious designer bathrobe.

In episode 10 of the popular drama, a trip to Thailand finds Gu-won, Sa-rang (played by YoonA), and the rest of their crew enjoying a respite amid bustling Bangkok. While the two budding lovers struggle to find their own alone time, their gang of travelers saw themselves cooped together at their room’s dinner table, where each of them sported vacation-ready robes.
Gu-won, as expected, stood out among the sea of white and blue cotton in his plush, black version. Apropos of his status as a designer aficionado, the drama’s chaebol was wrapped in a shawl cover robe from Tom Ford.
A piece from the luxury house’s men’s ready-to-wear collection, the French terry robe in question is crafted from 100 percent cotton, and embroidered with the brand’s logo on its patch pocket. To call the opulent piece as their very own bathroom essential, interested buyers will have to shell out $990—that’s approximately P54,000!
