This year’s GMA Gala Night is slated to be the grandest gathering of the biggest Kapuso stars on our screens. In attendance to the event are movie buffs (and love birds) Kyline Alcantara and Mavy Legaspi, who geared up for the big event by posing for the camera as classic romantic couples.

Shaira Luna first shot the Gen Z couple as the lead couple in the 1940s movie Casablanca. Justine Arcega-Bumanlag crafted a dreamy set-up reminiscent of the film's Moroccan setting. Dressed by Cath Sobrevega and groomed by Effie Iñigo and Mycke Arcano, Mavy was looking every bit like a leading man.
Meanwhile, Kyline was a vision of elegance with side-swept hair by Brent Sales and classic glam by Gela Laurel. Shark Tanael of Studio 24c made sure she matched perfectly with her beau in a white blazer dress and black gloves.
The next set of the photos took inspiration from the 1980’s action-romance Scarface. Donning edgier looks this time around, the pair was the spitting image of Michelle Pfeiffer and Al Pacino.
Mavy went for a rugged hairstyle and subtle makeup along with a striped suit, while Kyline rocked a glittery frock, opera gloves, chandelier earrings, and a blunt bob with bangs.
This isn’t the first time these two transformed into classic film characters, and it’s safe to say we’ll always be smitten every time they do. Have a ball tonight, Kyline and Mavy!
