Yes, it's true: K-drama superstar Kim Soo Hyun is finally here in the Philippines! Pinch us, please.
The It's Okay to Not Be Okay star made his way to Manila last Wednesday, June 8, and we met him in the flesh during an exclusive press conference held at the Peninsula Manila. But before that, mind you, he first made waves online for his impeccable airport style!
The South Korean heartthrob, who told us at the presscon that he prefers comfy and casual clothes over the usually trendier outfits that he's worn on-screen for his K-drama characters, showed off his effortless personal style as he headed off to our shores from Seoul. En route to Manila, Soo Hyun was clad in a pair of classic white sneakers, a set of black trousers and a bomber jacket with a no-nonsense white t-shirt underneath, which he punctuated with a solid black baseball cap that injected a more easygoing vibe to his airport OOTD.
Arriving in Manila (and admittedly overwhelmed by the heat), the actor took off his jacket to reveal the exact white tee that he's been sporting—and as expected, it's from the local retail brand Bench, for which he's been announced as the newest global ambassador. More importantly, you can cop his cool airport look and score the very same round-neck t-shirt worn by Soo Hyun for less than 500 pesos. What a steal!
