K-dramas have unabashedly taken over our must-watch list on Netflix recently. After the nationwide Crash Landing on You obsession, hopping on the Itaewon Class train felt almost like a no-brainer. It does, after all, star Park Seo-joon, a.k.a. one of today’s most sought-after leading men in the Hallyu industry (no biggie!). The webtoon-based drama tells the story of an ex-convict who, despite all the curve balls that life threw his way, went against the odds to grow his tiny pub into a successful corporation. The plot itself makes for a worthy binge; its compelling storytelling puts a spotlight on important issues tackling the different aspects of inequality, such as race, sexuality, social class, etc. And if you’re usually in it for the fashion, then we dare say you won’t be disappointed either—especially with Jo Yi-seo, Kim Da-mi’s genius yet snarky take on a modern-day female lead.
The actress went through quite the style transformation in the series, from being Dan Bam’s leather jacket-donning restaurant manager to becoming a full-fledged CFO in structured suits that managed to still retain her edgy persona. There was, however, one constant element throughout all her OOTDs: her designer arm candy. From beginning until the end, Jo Yi-seo’s impressive collection of bags kept us green with envy.
