Attention, streetwear fans: Kenzo has joined forces with Blackpink's artistic director Verdy for the house's newest exclusive collection.
A close associate of Kenzo's artistic director Nigo, Verdy crafted graphics for the French luxury fashion house's most recent Spring/Summer runway collection. The Japanese graphic artist is best known for his bold hip-hop inspired designs and playful East-meets-West aesthetic, which perfectly align with Nigo's vision for the brand.
You can expect the collaboration to feature Verdy's signature font across selected garments from the Spring/Summer 2024 lineup. Verdy has also reimagined spelled-out branding like Kenzo, 18 Rue Vivienne, and 1970 on some woven, knit, denim, and leather pieces and accessories.
The women's line features a mix of elevated basics in neutrals with pops of pinks and reds. Some notable items include a navy knitted jumper, a pastel polo dress, and a cream cropped hoodie, all three showcasing the unmistakable Kenzo Paris logo.
Men can also expect streetwear-inspired jersey pieces such as varsity cardigans, Kenzo Paris sweatshirts, and oversized tees bearing maximalist designs. There's also genderless apparel made to be wearable by everyone, which includes a wide range of statement-making hoodies, jogging pants, and leather and varsity jackets.
Not in the mood to shop for clothes? You can always consider the collection's impressive selection of baseball caps, tote bags, and pouches instead!
If you want first dibs on these items, visit Kenzo.com from December 1 to 3, 2023 to shop the Kenzo x Verdy exclusively. Kenzo stores worldwide will also release the collection starting December 4, 2023. Happy shopping!
