Infused with Verdy's penchant for bold graphics, vibrant hues, and youthful designs, Kenzo's contemporary take on "real-to-wear" fashion gets a fresh spin with primary color blocks and the Blackpink artistic director's signature font.
Wardrobe staples such as T-shirts, hoodies, shorts, and sweatshirts are meticulously crafted and designed to seamlessly cross over traditional street and formal requirements. An elevation of basics in terms of make and wear, if you will.
After all, Nigo believes that wardrobes of today are combinations of all, and he sees the French luxury house championing fashion beyond the conventional dress codes.
Just in time for summer, the collection embraces vibrant deep-sea blue, poppy red, and lemon yellow, set against pristine white and soft gray. It's a visually striking palette that distinguishes this drop from the previous dominantly neutral collection.
This zesty approach takes cues from Nigo's direction that effortlessly emanates a cool East-meets-West vibe. Verdy translates this with his distinctive fusion of Japanese and Western streetwear aesthetic that is inspired by both manga and hip-hop.
