LOOK: Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards at the "Hello, Love, Again" Premiere
Kath was a scene-stealer in a chic and polished look on the red carpet. . Styled by Kimi and Boop Yap, she wore a custom Jro Alarcio number which featured a gathered halter bodice with a daring ab-baring cutout, and a streamlined floor-grazing skirt. Her look was polished off with a sleek updo by John Valle and fresh, youthful makeup by Justine Claudia Del Rosario, while silver drop earrings from Bvlgari and a ring from Mei Diamond Jewelry added a touch of glamour.
Stylist Boop Yap shared the inspiration behind Kathryn’s look, explaining that the goal was to strike a balance between simplicity and comfort, all while introducing something fresh to her red carpet style. “For this premiere night, we wanted something clean and simple, different [from] her previous looks that she has done in her previous premieres,” she told Preview, adding, “We also wanted something she can easily move in, a comfortable fabric.”
To realize this vision, Boop and her sister, Kimi, collaborated with designer Jro Alarcio, who crafted a refined piece for the occasion. “The dress exudes a sophisticated elegance, with a draped silhouette at the back that flatters her figure while capturing her unique personality,” he explains.
Alden Richards, meanwhile, embodied sophisticated charm in a custom double-breasted suit by Maison Soriano, layered over a contrasting black shirt. Completing his ensemble were sleek Monk Strap shoes by Italian shoemaker Santoni and a luxurious Audemars Piguet timepiece.
Stylist Melville Sy of Studio 24c shared insight into Alden’s look, revealing the emphasis on cohesion and timeless appeal for the premiere. "Our team, together with Alden, wanted their look to be cohesive for the premier night so we opted for an off white color," Melville shares with Preview. "The concept is modern, streamlined and a slim-cut double breasted suit that perfectly suits the look."
