Kaladkaren continues to be a trailblazer in Philippine cinema after she attended the Manila International Film Festival in Hollywood last November 2. Joined by her Here Comes the Groom co-star Enchong Dee, the actress graced the global event in a proudly Pinoy attire.

"Transgender Filipina in Hollywood! I am grateful!!!" Kaladkaren joyously wrote on Instagram. For the momentous occasion, she was garbed in a gorgeous pink Filipiniana dress by local designer Jhong Sudlon. The frock featured lattice-pattern beading and a cape that flowed from its right sleeve.
To match the look, the actress did her own makeup and went for shimmery pink eyelids and a glossy lippie. For her tresses, she tied them back into a side-swept bun with curled tendrils. Complementing her pastel OOTD was her scene partner Enchong, who was looking dapper in navy blue.
It's safe to say that the multimedia personality was over the moon to be invited to the film festival. She closed out her caption saying, "Aside from our representation as Filipino actors, I'm happy to be a part of this milestone as an LGBTQIA+ Filipino. I hope people like me will get more opportunities like this! The future is bright!" And we certainly echo the sentiment!
