1. Pair a comfy tracksuit with a structured bag.
For a comfy and cozy 'fit that still slays, make use of a little juxtaposition to add an interesting detail to your look. Here, Jinkee adds a bit of structure via her Hermès Birkin to contrast the sporty vibe of her airport ensemble.
2. Coordinate your colors.
Pack with a color theme in mind. That way, whatever pieces you choose to wear have a cohesive look and Jinkee's outfit is the perfect example. Her jacket, sweater, bag, and shoes are in varying shades of brown, beige, and tan, allowing her to instantly look put together no matter what she throws on.
3. Throw a tweed jacket over timeless pieces.
A black turtleneck and jeans are two things we've all probably worn when visiting colder climates. But as Jinkee demonstrates here, your outerwear can make all the difference. Tweed lends an air of sophistication to any look, and adds a bit of texture to an otherwise simple outfit.
4. Layer your outfit to create interesting visuals.
In a tropical country, wearing more than two items of clothing is unheard of, so when the temperatures drop it's easy to get excited over all the layering possibilities. Here, Jinkee layered a white long-sleeved turtleneck with the sleeves rolled up to her elbow over a black long-sleeved top. But she didn't stop there, to add even more visual interest she layered on a vest to add even more warmth.
5. Insert an unexpected tropical element.
It's almost expected to see leather, fur, and fuzzy knits in cold weather OOTDs. But Jinkee threw in a wicker version of her favorite Hermès Birkin as a fun surprise.
