Jinkee embraced the cooler weather with a black and beige Valentino wool coat and a matching long-sleeved cotton jersey top. While the Italian fashion house’s signature Iconographe Toile motif made her outfit a complete standout, it was her rare Birkin Picnic 25 that made our jaws drop.
What makes this bag so special, you ask? First released in 2021, the Hermès Picnic Bag, crafted from Osier wicker, is a unique creation requiring the expertise of both a master saddler for the leather and an expert basket weaver for the body. The meticulous crafting process takes approximately 10 hours. So not only is it a luxurious accessory, it’s also quite the work of art.

While the Birkin Picnic 25 retails for $21,000 (P1,163,358), according to international auction house Sotheby’s, the prices of the unique handbag on the secondary market surged up to $148,000 in early 2022–that’s over P8 million. On Madison Avenue Couture, an authorized reseller of Hermès bags, they’re selling the same bag as Jinkee’s for $90,000, which is roughly P4,985,820. Her Valentino wool coat and top, which costs $5,735 (approx. P317,707) and $1,270 (approx. P70,355) respectively, bring the cost of her OOTD to a total of P5,373,882.
