Hot on the heels of Loewe’s collaboration with Studio Ghibli, anime continues its streak as a sartorial inspo for luxury brands. Next on the list is the British brand Jimmy Choo, who tapped the much-beloved Sailor Moon franchise for an eye-popping collaboration line.
The special capsule collection is released in time for Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon’s 30th anniversary. It pays homage to the pop culture phenom with its line of bold footwear and accessories themed around its colorful cast of characters.
The centerpiece, however, is the made-to-order limited edition Sailor Moon boot, which flaunts a signature Jimmy Choo kick heel, crescent moon jewels, and a swash of all-pink Swarovski crystal embellishments.
