Moschino Creative Director Jeremy Scott, is being sued by graffiti artist Rime (aka Joseph Tierney) for using one of his street art pieces on Moschino’s Fall 2015 collection.
Rime claimed that his artwork titled “Vandal Eyes” was blatantly copied on the dress modelled by Gigi Hadid on the runway. The street artist also accused Scott for incorporating his signature in the Moschino collection.
It should be noted that it is part of his creative process to splash likenesses of pop culture all over his clothing (read: Mighty Mouse, Barbie, McDonald's etc).
Scott has yet to respond on the lawsuit.
