Jennifer Lopez Just Got Married Again—And This Time, She Wore Not Just One But Three Bridal Gowns

Love can definitely come a second time around and Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are proof of that! In a relationship that spans nearly 20 years, the Hollywood A-list couple finally said their “I dos” in a discreet Las Vegas wedding last July. Nearly a month later, the duo held a more lavish yet still intimate ceremony surrounded by their friends and family in a property owned by Ben in Riceboro, Georgia.

While their first wedding found Jennifer in a minimalist embroidered wedding gown that she described as "a dress from an old movie," the actress and music superstar didn’t hold back for the second round of their nuptials. In fact, she prepared not one, not two, but three gorgeous wedding gowns for the big day!

She tapped famed designer Ralph Lauren to create three bridal looks, which she changed into throughout the ceremony. On the brand's official IG, the American fashion house explained that all three designs are meant to be “modern heirlooms for a timeless romance” with love, care, and consideration sewn into its silhouettes. 

For the first look that Jen wore as she walked down the aisle, her dress drew inspiration from the designer’s archival pieces. Featuring a frilled turtleneck and cap sleeves, the gown hugged Jennifer’s waist before flowing into a dramatic ruffled hem made out of over 1,000 cut handkerchiefs. “Each handkerchief becomes a nostalgic keepsake and a modern heirloom, while the intricate constructed ruffled sleeves become a statement in craftsmanship and dignified design,” shares Ralph’s team. 

The star looked nothing short of breathtaking in her second look featuring a low-back chandelier gown encrusted with pearls and Swarovski crystals. Over 30 artisans had to hand-embroider all its tiny details, which took nearly 700 hours. 

Jennifer slipped into a sultry halter-style gown for her third look that featured a key-hole design that showed off an ample amount of the bombshell’s décolletage. The dress also had an exposed back that bared even more skin. As an added touch, a sheer hood-style veil covered her sleek bun. 

In the beauty department, makeup artist Mary Phillips chose a bronzed look for Jennifer with a dark cut crease, full lashes, and nude lips. Her go-to hairstylist, Chris Appleton, styled her hair in a soft and bouncy pulled-back ‘do for the first look to contrast her dark makeup. For the rest of the ceremony, Chris did a simple bun style to show off Jennifer’s sharp side profile.
