The 2023 Cinemalaya Film Festival capped off last Sunday, August 12, with an awarding ceremony held at the Philippine International Convention Center. Serving as the event's emcee was indie movie darling Jasmine Curtis-Smith. For the occasion, stylist Danae Dipon dressed the hostest in a modern rendition of the classic Filipiniana.

Danae tells Preview that the actress specifically requested for a terno dress, as the festival itself aimed to be a celebration of Filipino talent. With this brief in mind, the stylist tapped Patty Ang to craft a black mini dress attached to a set of pleated sheer blue sleeves. This created a cut-out by the side of Jasmine's torso that perfectly showed off her slender physique.
To accessorize, she wore dainty jewelry by Tim Tam Ong and a Minaudiere clutch by Neil Felipp. The two pieces complemented each other since the butterflies on Jasmine's ring went right along with the floral motif of her bag. We love the attention to detail!
Making sure she was glowing all throughout to night was makeup artist John Pagaduan. He blushed out the star's cheeks and brushed on smokey brown lids. Meanwhile, hairstylist RJ Dela Cruz pulled back her tresses in a princess-style bun.
