After premieres in Venice, Busan, and Vienna, Janine Gutierrez's indie drama film Phantosmia screens at the Tokyo International Film Festival. On the red carpet, the actress made a statement in a rich purple-hued frock by Filipino designer RR Pineda.

Styled by MJ Benitez, Janine was an absolute vision in violet. The floor-length frock hugged her in all of the right places and featured a flattering v-neckline. For extra drama, the dress' fabric gathered by the hips and flowed into a floor-grazing train.

Accessories were kept at a minimum, with a pair of yellow gold Knot earrings and a trio of rings from Tiffany & Co. complementing the dress. Inspired by the house's archives, the earrings are meant to symbolize life's most meaningful connections. An appearance at one of the world's most prestigious film festivals certainly proves to be a worthy occasion to wear such fine jewelry.

In the makeup department, Justine Navato accentuated Janine's visage with glossy nude lips, blushed-out cheeks, and earth-toned eyeshadow. Latte makeup, anyone? Meanwhile, hairstylist Jay Aquino parted her brown locks and zhuzed them up into movie star-worthy waves. Stunning!

After Tokyo, Janine heads home for her film's premiere at the QCinema International Film Festival. The screenings are occurring this November 7. Check out the festival's official website to learn how you can view Phantosmia and other select titles.
