Stars collided in Hong Kong last Sunday, March 10, for the 17th Asian Film Awards. Among the attendees was our very own Janella Salvador, who represented her upcoming cross-national film Under Parallel Skies at the ceremony. Dressed by Perry Tabora, the actress was a vision of elegance in a bespoke Mark Bumgarner frock.

Janella hit the red carpet in a black floor-length gown that featured a structured bustier and large velvet bows. The ensemble struck the perfect balance between classy and dainty, with a pair of sheer gloves and silver earrings added for good measure.

In the beauty department, Carissa Cielo Medved swiped on a glossy pink lippie and packed on the blush. Kiel Otilla then restrained the actress' tresses, leaving behind a short fringe swept to the side.

Janella Salvador Poses Beside Co-Star Win Metawin at the 17th Asian Film Awards

By Janella's side was her co-star, Thai actor Win Metawin. You might recall the heartthrob for his roles in the 2gether series, as well as in F4 Thailand. Together with his leading lady, the pair looked oh-so-chic in black!

It was fitting for the two to reunite in Hong Kong as Under Parallel Skies is set in the Harbour City. Directed by Filipina filmmaker Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, the movie talks about an unlikely duo's search for love and meaning despite differing backgrounds.

The project is a collaboration between production companies from Thailand, Hong Kong, and, of course, the Philippines. Mark your calendars as it hits local theaters this April 17.
