We can’t deny a power couple moment, and Issa Pressman and James Reid have firmly cemented their status as the chicest couple at this year’s Preview Ball.
As one of this year’s Best Dressed awardees, Issa proved her fashion prowess with a standout look by Sassa Jimenez, while James, who was also awarded the previous year, made an equally impressive appearance in a Monohomme ensemble proving why they’re the duo to watch—and swoon over!

Issa made a memorable entrance in a striking ensemble styled entirely by herself. Merging the dress code of skin tone creative formal with the theme of authenticity, her ensemble featured her signature boho style which she described as a "gypsy-goddess vibe." The ensemble, an ab-baring two-piece, featured sheer ballooning sleeves and a ruffled mermaid-like skirt definitely made her 'fit one of the evening’s highlights. Explaining why she chose Sassa as her designer, she said, "When I try to pack out an idea in my head, I try to think which designer matches which. Usually, I'll go to a designer and it's like meant to be."
For her beauty look, done by Thazzia Falek, she went for a sultry, fox-eye look in warm tones. Last year, she chose to tie her locks into an updo, this time around she let her natural curls free, truly making it the crowning glory of her look.
Her beau, James, styled by John Lozano, went for a sheer, nude-hued ensemble. The transparent fabric subtly revealed skin while maintaining a sophisticated and event-appropriate vibe. As John explained, “For inspiration, we just wanted to play on the theme nude, but not just the color, the concept of it. That’s why we opted for sheer nude fabrics to show some skin but still kept it appropriate for the event.”
James’ look stood out for its simplicity, paired with a sleek and elongated silhouette. John shared, “We wanted to keep it monochrome to also make him look sleek and long. We also kept the design very lowkey and simple but always with an edge, because it also has to echo James’ personality.”
Completing the ensemble was James’ signature polished grooming, keeping the makeup minimal yet effective. Paired with light touches of Tiffany & Co. jewelry, James is still one of the evening’s best-dressed stars.
