The much-anticipated Preview Ball has returned for 2023, and this year's black carpet was graced by none other than showbiz’s most buzzworthy couple, James Reid and Issa Pressman. Styled by John Lozano, the duo turned heads with their jaw-dropping ensembles, leaving everyone in awe.

As one of Preview’s best-dressed honorees, James Reid didn't disappoint. Wearing a bespoke creation by John Lozano and Peter Lyle Foz, his outfit featured a white embroidered tailored-fit suit with a touch of retro flare. His look was completed by a pair of United Nude boots and Tiffany & Co. Lock jewelry.
Issa, a style maven in her own right, walked the Preview Ball's black carpet wearing an exquisite two-piece frock. The gown featured a bandeau and a flowing skirt which perfectly complemented her carefree vibe. Meanwhile, the Tiffany Hardwear jewelry and bejeweled clutch added a touch of glamour to her look.

We had the privilege of speaking with John Lozano, James’ talented stylist who revealed the inspiration behind his black carpet looks. He shared, "For tonight's look we wanted a deconstruction of the usual suit. We wanted a classic with a twist, done in a '70s silhouette which is very on trend now.”
When asked how they interpreted the creative all-white theme, he replied, “We opted for a juxtaposition of an otherwise formal and polished look with unpolished details. To keep the details clean, we went for jewelry that is understated, so as not to clash with the intricacy of the suit.”
“James knows what works for his body and what silhouettes compliment his frame so we started there, and added details to make it more fitting of the rockstar that he is,” he continued.
When asked about Issa's ensemble, Angelica Yabut and Jeremy Bautista of John Lozano’s team explained, "Isa is the one who actually envisioned the look, so she just sent us some pegs. And then after that, we just worked our magic, and then we made it come to life."
The couple's glam was courtesy of James' go-to makeup artist of almost 10 years, Mac Igarta. He enhanced James' natural looks with some skincare and light makeup, and gave Issa a bronzy goddess glow with her foxy brown eye paired with a glossy nude lip.
