It's common knowledge that Filipino designer Michael Cinco has been lauded for countless evening gowns before, many of which have been worn by local celebrities and international style stars alike. But did you know that you can actually purchase those celebrity-worn gowns today?
Yup—we're talking about the very same gowns that global A-listers wore to red carpets and high society events. During the silent auction at the Philippine Legacy Gala 2023 last week, it was mentioned that a few of Michael's creations will be up for bidding. Two months before that, the same gowns were also announced to be available for purchase at the Metaverse Fashion Gala during Philippine Blockchain Week.
Philippine Blockchain Week Co-Founder Chezka Gonzales later on revealed in a PEP.ph interview that a total of 10 legendary gowns by Michael are currently for sale. According to her, every purchased piece will include a corresponding minted NFT to guarantee authentication.
Each frock comes with a seven-figure price tag, and a portion of the proceeds will also be donated to three charities, namely, the Global Reskilling Movement, the Worldwide Fund for Nature, and the Global Spectrum Initiative. Check out some of the dresses up for bidding ahead!
