Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz just got hitched to her coach-trainer fiancé Julian Naranjo! The couple, who got engaged in October 2021, held an intimate celebration on July 26, 2022—exactly a year since Hidilyn bagged the country’s first-ever Olympic gold. Surrounded by their closest friends and family in picturesque Baguio, the pair’s floral-themed ceremony was nothing short of stunning, as seen in photos captured by Nice Print Photography.

Naturally, we can’t help but zoom in on Hidilyn’s gorgeous bridal looks on her special day! Wearing not one but two looks, the 31-year-old served different vibes in contrasting frocks yet carried both with the same elegance one expects from a weightlifting champion.
Her first look meant for her welcome party was a strapless, tea-length number made by bridal wear designer Vania Romoff. It featured a light blue floral pattern all over, as well as an oversized bow at the back.
An eye-catching aspect of Hidilyn’s second look was her one-of-a-kind bouquet. Paying tribute to her sport, her cascading orchid bouquet was actually fashioned to look like the weights she’s known to lift!
In the beauty department, makeup artist Juan Sarte gave the bride a natural look with fluttery lashes and peachy lips that enhanced Hidilyn’s natural beauty. Her hairstyle was kept fairly minimal as well tied back in a bun with a few romantic tendrils framing her face.
Right beside her was Julius who looked incredibly sharp in a structured art-deco-inspired barong, which was also designed by Francis.
