To say that Heart Evangelista is a style maven would be an understatement given her global presence and consistent slew of high fashion looks. One recent ensemble, however, points to a sartorial theme she seems to be into lately: surrealism!
Remember her paillette-filled Schiaparelli couture gown during the GMA Gala? She was also seen wearing a metallic bodice last month. Well, the streak continues! Just yesterday, August 11, 2023, Heart revealed a head-turning outfit at a big event for Strokes Cosmetics.
In line with her penchant for art-inspired designer pieces, she donned a fringe mini dress from Oscar dela Renta that featured a floral motif and mimicked the movement of grass in the wind. To complete the picture, she juxtaposed it with a studded bunny minaudiere from Judith Leiber. We love the witty and playful pairing!
To elevate the glam factor, Heart came dripping in four fine jewelry pieces from Bulgari that were all part of the Serpenti collection. The most expensive one isn’t the watch, the ring, nor the earrings, but the Serpenti Viper Necklace which costs approximately P10,849,304! Crafted in 18kt white gold and set with full pavé diamonds, this highly coveted piece coils around the neck in almost the same way the famous Serpenti watch does.
As for footwear, Heart took cues from her sensuous jewelry by wearing strappy stiletto heels from Rene Caovilla. All in all, her event outfit is fun and elegant–a refined take on surrealist fashion. Perhaps its the artist in her that’s been influencing her outfits lately!
