Heart Evangelista has many labels attached to her name: actress, socialite, author, and of course, a pretty talented painter.
Known as Love Marie in the art scene, the Philippines’ resident fashionista is known to fuse both her passions with style and the visual arts, thanks to her sought-after handpainted bags. In a recent post, the star revealed that an unnamed buyer is the new lucky owner of an exclusive Heart-painted Hermès Kelly!
“And we say goodbye to one of my #lovemariehandpaintedbags,” Heart captioned the post. “It was so much fun painting on these Hermes bags [emoji] Glad “she “ will have a new home [emoji] Shall we paint again ?:)”
In the series of shots, the socialite posed alongside her handpainted creations, which spotlights portrait illustrations of various styles. The newly sold bag featured a woman’s profile, backdropped by intricately painted flowers across the Kelly’s canvas.
While she didn’t disclose the buyer for this particular piece, Heart’s previous clientele has had a star-studded lineup, including the likes of Jinkee Pacquiao, Kim Chiu, Carla Abellana, and more. In a previous interview, it was also revealed that an exclusive Love Marie commission will cost her customers P90,000 a pop–and that doesn’t count the bag!
Still, they’ll surely get their money’s worth, as Heart only accepts a couple of clients. Now that’s a rare Hermès bag!
