Over the years, Heart Evangelista has cemented herself as a fixture at global fashion weeks. Season after season, the actress-socialite consistently makes appearances in the "big three": Paris, Milan, and New York. This time, however, the style maven announced that she's sitting out the upcoming New York Fashion Week showcase, scheduled from September 6 to 11, 2024.

On Tuesday, August 27, Heart took to Instagram to share that she won’t be jetting off to New York for the fashion week festivities."[To] those asking, I won't be attending New York Fashion Week," she wrote. Citing prior commitments in Asia, as well as her regular appearances at Milan and Paris Fashion Week, the actress explained that "it wouldn't be smart for me to be all over the place."
For the Spring 2024 season, Milan Fashion Week is slated to run from September 17 to 23, immediately followed by Paris Fashion Week from September 23 to October 1.
"Time is precious and health is important (bawal haggard)," Heart concluded.

Heart Evangelista last graced New York Fashion Week in September 2023, where she attended the Spring/Summer showcases of Michael Kors, Aritzia, Carolina Herrera, and COS. After a whirlwind week in the Big Apple, Heart revealed in an episode of her "I Am Heart" vlog series how she had to rush back to Manila to prepare for Paris and Milan.
In another vlog episode, while rushing in between fashion shows for Milan Fashion Week 2024 in February, Heart elaborated on why she doesn’t frequent New York Fashion Week as much. At the 42:39 mark, she explained: "That’s why I don’t do New York so much—they're super far away. Like, one is in some warehouse, I don’t know where. But in Europe, it can also be traffic," she recounted.
