Heart Evangelista’s comeback soap opera is almost here, and her character couldn’t have been more apt for the style maven. In the upcoming GMA romcom titled I Left My Heart in Sorsogon, Heart will play Celeste Estrellado, a successful fashion designer who returns to the eponymous province engaged to her boyfriend, only to soon be swept up by the charms of her first love.
ICYMI, the drama’s teaser trailer came out a week ago, giving us a glimpse of Heart as the fashionable leading lady we’ve been waiting for. Based on the quick clip and Heart’s recent YouTube vlog, it seems her character is committed to her fashion queen image, no matter the place or occasion. Case in point: it looks like she might be arriving in her hometown dressed in a lightweight Chanel blazer set with just a bralette underneath. Talk about making an entrance.
In the teaser, we can also pick out Heart repping other brands such as Christian Dior, Jennifer Behr, and even more Chanel pieces for her everyday wear. Her character, who seems to have brought an entire closet of designer outfits to Sorsogon, will don other familiar names such as Dolce & Gabbana, Carolina Herrera, and Patty Ang as well, throughout the course of the show, as further seen in Heart’s vlog.

Fun fact: if you feel like Celeste’s outfits are still distinctly Heart Evangelista, that’s because the actress is actually wearing clothes straight from her closet for the drama. In an interview, she revealed having brought and loaded two cars full of her stuff for the lock-in taping in Sorsogon, adding that she was “very hands-on” during the filming of the soap.
Speaking of her own pieces, Heart also mentioned in her vlog she’s thankful for the opportunity to wear her clothes on the show. She explained, “Because of the pandemic, ang dami kong mga hindi nagamit na bigay ng mga brands from last year, from two or three years ago…and they’re getting a chance to be on my show.”
