If there's one K-pop concert that you shouldn't miss this year, that would be Hallyuween 2022. A portmanteau of the words Hallyu (or the rise of the Korean wave) and Halloween, this event presented by PULP Live World will not only have some of the biggest Korean artists in one show—it will also bring K-culture fans together for a night of partying!
Hallyuween 2022 is the Philippines' first K-pop Halloween party and it will happen on October 29, Saturday, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Headlining the concert are CL, Epik High, PENTAGON, KARD, Gaho x Kave, BGYO, and DJ Soda, who will perform some of their hit tracks that everyone can dance along to. Aside from the performances, you'll look forward to the many activities in store for you as well as the prizes for the best in costume (like tickets to any PULP show. Whoa!).
That being said, you're probably thinking about what you should wear to this one-of-a-kind event. And so we came up with a list to help you choose which character you'd want to channel on d-day.
Here are outfit ideas for Hallyuween 2022:
1. High school student from All Of Us Are Dead
One of the most iconic K-dramas this year is undoubtedly Netflix's All Of Us Are Dead (AOUAD). Whether you want to dress up as Nam Ra (Cho Yi Hyun) or Na Yeon (Lee Yoo Mi), you can cop the look of the Hyosan High School students by wearing a green (or pink) cardigan over a school uniform.
Of course, you can also come to Hallyuween 2022 as one of the zombie students in AOUAD! Fake blood, scars, and wounds are available on online shops to nail that zombie look.
2. Shin Ha Ri from Business Proposal
Remember when Shin Ha Ri (Kim Sejeong) pretended to be chaebol heiress Shin Geum Hee during her first blind date with Kang Tae Moo (Ahn Hyo Seop)? She made a glamorous transformation and we can't forget her stylish outfits! Like this black and white co-ord which she paired with highlights:
3. Y2K fashion as seen on NewJeans
The popular rookie girl group has everyone hyped wink with their overflowing talent and refreshing visuals! If you and your friends want to get everyone's attention, NewJean's Y2K outfits won't fail you. Wear jerseys and denim for this OOTD idea, and sport butterfly clips and braids to achieve their look.
4. The robbers from Money Heist Korea: Joint Economic Area
Another costume idea for the entire squad is from Netflix's Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area! This one is pretty easy: All you have to do is look for a red jumpsuit, a pair of black boots, and a mask to fully transform into the robbers.
5. Lee Eul from The Sound Of Magic
Fancy something mystical? Attend Hallyuween 2022 as The Sound Of Magic's Lee Eul (Ji Chang Wook)! Magic tricks are not required (but would be cute if you know some, hehe).
6. Oh In Joo from Little Women
Here's a comfy attire if you're a K-drama fan! On In Joo (Kim Go Eun)'s outfits in Little Women are a mix of cozy cardigans and long gowns. For the latter, you can try wearing this powder blue number which we've seen on the series' poster.
7. CL's outfit from "Lover Like Me"
Presenting: The K-pop queen's stunning red dress from the music video of "Lover Like Me"! Since she's performing at Hallyuween 2022, why not come as her, right? Match the outfit with silver accessories and you're all set to channel your inner baddest female.
